JBL Store Opens at SM Bacoor, Cavite

JBL Store is opening soon at SM Bacoor, to cater to customers who are residing in Cavite and the neighboring cities and towns. The store has its flagship lineup of home speakers, portable bluetooth speakers, soundbars, headphones and other JBL products that aim to immerse its listeners with epic sound. It’s the 14th store in addition to the growing chain of JBL stores in the country, product demos of different system set‐up will also be offered.

JBL Store Bacoor will also launch exclusive promos to celebrate its soft‐opening on May 15, 2018. The store is located at the 4th Floor, Cyberzone, SM Bacoor. Tips on Audio Considerations When Setting Up Your Home Theater

As a general rule of thumb, bigger speakers tend to be capable of delivering higher volume levels, better
dynamics and more bass, though you shouldn’t just assume that rings true with every product – it’s all
relative.
Placing your speakers closer to the back wall will give you more bass, while further away will decrease the
low end you hear but should offer more convincing stereo imaging.
Do try and avoid placing your speakers in a corner. Despite how convenient it may be spatially, you’ll get fat,
lumpy bass that’ll skew the whole balance.
It’s as important that your speakers are level and don’t rock – a sturdy speaker is a happy speaker.
Let your speakers run-in (100 hours) or so
Lastly, position speakers at listener’s ear level for best sound. Left and Right channels can be in-line with the
center channel’s height. If not, center channel can be leveled or positioned above the TV but should be
tilted down to the listener.

1. You’ll want to make sure as many seating positions as possible are viewing the TV straight on.
2. Consider reflections: most windows will have curtains or blinds you can close and, of course, lights can be
switched off
3. For ambient lighting that won’t cause a distraction, consider placing lamps or lighting behind your TV. This is
sometimes known as ‘bias lighting’.
4. The screen should be at eye level when you’re seated, so invest in a decent TV stand that can accommodate any
other kit you have, such as a cable box, Blu-ray player or soundbar.
5. Avoid the trend of placing it above a fireplace if you can, or it’ll be like sitting in the first row of the cinema. If
you must place it higher than eye level, make sure you angle it downwards to make viewing more comfortable.

What Is Dolby Atmos

You don’t need to be an audiophile to have heard about Dolby Atmos. I’m sure you already heard it or read about it somewhere, from the movie theaters or on the internet. So, what is Atmos by Dolby?

“Dolby Atmos adds overhead sound to the mix. Atmos is an innovative sound format that uses Dolby‐enabled upward‐firing speakers or in‐ceiling speakers to project sound from above your seats.
